Product Feature: DFC series – Low-noise frequency combs and CEP-stable seeders

ǀ  TOPTICA Tuesday

The Difference Frequency Comb (DFC) product line, introduced in 2015, features low noise frequency combs and CEP-stable seeders. The integrated completely passive CERO-technology relies on difference frequency generation (DFG) which inherently stabilizes the carrier-envelope offset frequency and the carrier-envelope offset phase of the generated femtosecond laser pulses and achieves ultra-high stability.

The modular design of the DFC series allows to adapt each laser system to the specific needs of applications like optical clocks, high-resolution spectroscopy, phase-stable laser amplifier seeding, OPCPA seeding, microwave generation or frequency comb spectroscopy. Three models (DFC CORE, DFC CORE+,  and DFC SEED) can be combined with add-ons like wavelength extension modules (420 -2200 nm), beam combiner and beat detector units or any of TOPTICA’s tunable diode lasers and locking electronics. This way complete, frequency-referenced laser systems are available from one source!
