It shares the "normal" iBeam smart's essential features like compact footprint, exquisite selection of high-quality components, and all-integrated electronics. Add narrow linewidth emission down to 10-20 MHz and excellent wavelength stability and you get the iBeam smart WS - short for wavelength-stabilized.
The ultra-reliable laser diodes we use to build the lasers support your most demanding metrology and spectroscopic applications. From blood-flow measurements via diffuse correlation spectroscopy to semicon wafer inspection with highly precise interferometry or Raman microscopy, the iBeam smart is your ideal companion.

Options
Optical isolator
Prevents potential optical feedback from reaching the laser. Stabilizes output power and spectral behavior of the emission. Available at 405 nm, 633 nm, 660 nm, 685 nm, 785 nm and 850 nm. Please inquire for other wavelengths.
SmartDock
Fiber coupler for iBeam smart with coupling efficiency of typ. above 75%. Compatible with SM/PM fiber with FC/APC connectors and MM fibers with FC/APC or FC/PC connectors. Focusing lens is included.
FiberOut
Fiber collimator including collimation lens which can be adjusted for variable focus. Typical beam sizes out of SM-fibers: 0.6 mm - 3.5 mm (1/e², diameter)
Wavelength selection
If the +/- 1 nm are not precise enough for your application, please inquire for wavelength selection down to 0.1 nm.
CleanUp filter
Bandpass filter with typical bandwidth 6-10 nm.
Breakout PCB
Adapter PCB replacing the I/O connector for exposed pins in environments that have very limited space.
Power supply
Input: 100-240 VAC; Output: 12 VDC at 5 A.
Breadboard adapter
Allows for direct mounting of iBeam smart WS to an optical breadboard or optical table. Beam height will be 40 mm with this adapter. Compatible with both metric and imperial hole patterns.
Switch box
CDRH compliant with key switch, external connectors and manual switches for easy access to iBeam smart WS features.
