Today Raman spectrometers are used in applications as diverse as biomedical diagnostics, industrial process monitoring, incoming inspection, hazmat analysis, and narcotics identification.
In this webcast, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of Raman spectrometers and you will learn how the laser, spectrograph, detector, and sampling optics work together to produce Raman spectra. Lastly, you will get an overview of a few advanced signal enhancement techniques such as UV Raman, resonance Raman, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), stimulated Raman scattering (SRS), and coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS).
