DFC Wavelength Extensions Wavelength conversion from 1560 nm to any desired wavelength between 420 and 2200 nm

Various extension modules are available that convert the offset-free fundamental output of the DFC CORE + from 1560 nm to any desired wavelength between 420 nm and 2200 nm. The wavelength conversion in these modules is achieved with the well-established technology of TOPTICA’s femtosecond fiber lasers, designed for stability and high power. The resulting high signal-to-noise ratio allows for stable phase-locking of cw lasers. Due to their modular design new wavelength extensions can be installed directly at your facility, avoiding lengthy service interruptions and keeping the DFC system available for demanding research applications. Special wavelength extensions are available on request.

Reliable operation with maximum uptime
All pump modules incorporate telecom-grade laser diodes (Telcordia GR-468-CORE qualified) and are field-replaceable. In the rare event of a pump diode failure, a replacement module will be shipped by express delivery and exchanged on-site by TOPTICA or by your trained staff with remote support. This eliminates the need to return the system for repair.
