The FemtoFiber smart 780 PT is a small sized, low weight and low power consuming all fiber-based femtosecond laser system ideally fitting for handheld and/or battery driven inspection devices.
It unites both supply electronics and fiber laser optics in one box, with very compact SHG unit behind a flexible, 2 meters long fiber delivery, being thus one of the smallest fiber laser units on the market.
The system only needs 12 V power supply and comprises a collimated free-beam output at 780 nm.

Flexible fiber delivery between laser unit and SHG allows easy integration to handheld scanning devices
The fiber laser system provides very short laser pulses at 780nm after the tiny miniature SHG device (20 x 20 x 80mm³). The metal shielded fiber, as well as the small SHG allow to easily integrate the laser into a handheld scanning device, adding just lowest possible weight for the integration device.
Small size, low weight, low power consumption (battery-ready)
Lasers to be integrated into portable devices need to be small in size, low in weight, and especially suited to typical battery-operated environments.
The small form factor of the laser unit plus the lowest possible weight allows to integrate the laser to be integrated in shoe-box sized, compact inspection devices. The low power consumption of les than 20 W allows to use a 12 V battery power supply. Air cooling and a well-suited power management are inevitable to integrate the system into portable devices.
