In 2007 TOPTICA introduced their iBeam smart diode laser which was the first member of the "smart" product family. It was designed to fulfill the requirements of industrial oriented applications. This single-purpose approach enabled TOPTICA to provide mature and effective solutions to the benefit of the customer in various cases.
The philosophy of the iBeam smart was also transferred to TOPTICA's fiber lasers - which resulted in the FemtoFiber smart series. This line of compact, dedicated and effective femtosecond fiber lasers was first introduced in 2008. The latest family member is the TeraFlash smart which provides compact OEM solutions for terahertz spectroscopy and metrology.
Since its launch in 2007, TOPTICA's "smart" products have generated a tremendous demand in a variety of markets and applications in over 5000 installations.
