HighFinesse LSA

Laser spectrum analyzer
The grating-based Laser Spectrum Analyzers (LSA) from HighFinesse offer a compact, robust, and highly accurate solution for the simultaneous measurement of both laser central wavelength and linewidth as well as the spectrum with high speed. Designed for a wide range of applications, the product series supports wavelengths from 192 nm to 2250 nm.
Relying on the non-moving parts principle, the LSA ensures exceptional reliability and long-term stability. This design enables precise measurements of both pulsed and continuous-wave (cw) lasers, making the instrument suitable for a broad range of laser sources. The grating-based technology allows for the analysis of laser sources with a large linewidth range, ensuring versatility across different laser types and applications. Laser input is conveniently delivered to the instrument using optical fibers, simplifying integration into existing setups.
Customization options are available to tailor the wavelength and linewidth range to meet specific application requirements. The LSA connects to a PC via USB, and after a simple software installation, the instrument is ready for immediate use. All optical and electronic components are housed in a thermally insulated enclosure, ensuring stable performance in varying environmental conditions. This makes the LSA a versatile and reliable tool for both academic research and industrial laser diagnostics and development.

Your Benefits

High-speed measurements
The measurement rates go up to 500 Hz. A very common application of our LSA instruments is monitoring the lineshape of lasers during their optical adjustment. With their unmatched measurement speed, our instruments are uniquely suited for this task. In the same way, these instruments can also be used for production certification of laser linewidths and lineshapes.
High resolving power
The echelle grating configuration brings outstanding resolving power.
Reliable and robust
The non-moving parts technology brings outstanding robustness.
For pulsed and CW lasers

The HighFinesse LSA can measure both, pulsed and CW lasers.

Applications

Monitoring the lineshape of lasers
