Designed as a versatile fiber coupler, the FiberDock™ works seamlessly with both TOPTICA laser systems and third-party sources. Its patented flexure hinge design enables highest coupling efficiencies while maintaining excellent long-term stability, so once aligned, it stays aligned. To ensure optimal performance, each FiberDock™ can be tailored to your application. Based on your laser parameters such as wavelength from 350 nm to 3000 nm, beam diameter, and fiber mode field diameter, we select and integrate the ideal focusing optics for you. With its wide range of variants and options, the FiberDock™ is a universal tool for linking free-space beams and fiber-based systems, making your optical setup easier, more stable, and ready to perform.

Convenient and straight-forward adjustment
An easy solution for both TOPTICA and third party laser systems and optical setups. FiberDock offers x/y control of the fiber tip, z control of the lens, and a complete X/Y adjustment to center the beam on the lens.
Universal solution for all needs
Free beam coupling into a fiber? No problem, just mount the FiberDock on an optical table. Need to reduce complexity? Take our SmartDock with only 3 independent alingment axes needed. You can customize the optics to wavelengths between 350 nm and 3000 nm and focal lengths from 1.5 mm to 30 mm.

Options
Free-beam fiber coupling
The stand-alone FiberDock SA can be easily mounted on an optical table via a standard post. It is a convenient link betweeen free-beam and fiber based optics.
OEM version
Our product variant SmartDock is made for OEM integration. With only 3 instead of 6 independent alignment axes the installation effort is reduced to the bare minimum.
Custom coupling lenses
Select between standard lenses from 4 mm to 20 mm focal length and additional lenses for specific needs ranging from 1.5 mm to 30 mm focal length. Clear aperture up to 6 mm, and for wavelengths between 350 nm and 3000 nm.
Customer connector type
Adapter plates allow for FC/APC and FC/PC connectors as a standard. Other connector types on request.
Custom fiber type
The FiberDock is available with single-mode (SM) fibers, single-mode polarization maintaining (SM/PM) fibers, as well as multi-mode fibers.
