TOPTICA is proud to introduce the new FemtoFiber ultra 920, designed to meet the needs of the community for a reliable, compact and cost effective solution. The laser features a pulse duration <100 fs with a center wavelength of 920 nm and 1.5 Watt of average power (18.5 nJ at 80 MHz repetition rate). The unmatched temporal and spatial beam characteristics of the laser are fully tailored for deep-tissue nonlinear microscopy, providing excellent optical contrast and signal-to-noise.

For molecular spectroscopy and quantum optics, TOPTICA’s new and powerful DLC TOPO – Prism Awards 2019 winner – delivers wide tunability, narrow linewidth, and convenient hands-free digital control over the full 1.45 to 4.00 μm spectral range. A wide mode-hop free tuning range up to 300 GHz enables visibility of full spectroscopic signatures, while a 2 MHz linewidth reveals narrow atomic and molecular features. High resolution spectroscopy with up to 4 W output power has never been easier. With the Europe-wide product premiere at the LASER trade fair the DLC TOPO is available worldwide now!

TOPTICA announces the new iChrome FLE in Munich. It is the latest member of TOPTICA’s successful iChrome multi-laser engine family. The iChrome FLE features up to seven laser lines in a flexible, yet robust and compact design for simple maintenance-free operation.
The iChrome FLE addresses the need for a high-end multi-color laser engine for advanced procedures in the biophotonics field (microscopy, cytometry, high throughput screening, etc.). The iChrome FLE’s extended platform can be configured with up to seven laser lines in the range of 405 to 647 nm and with one or two fiber outputs.

TOPTICA presents tunable diode lasers for applied quantum technology at LASER World of PHOTONICS: The multi diode laser MDL pro combines up to four tunable narrow-linewidth lasers in one compact standard 19-inch sub-rack. Operating external cavity and distributed feedback diode lasers in racks eliminates the need for optical tables and achieves a higher level of integration. The laser modules of the MDL pro are operated with TOPTICA's digital laser controller DLC pro. Based on its digital architecture, it combines unique user convenience with unprecedented performance.

Compact, robust, high-end, and convenient: TOPTICA’s Difference Frequency Comb (DFC) product line is based on difference frequency generation. It is inherently fCEO-stable and is characterized by a high robustness combined with high stability and accuracy. All you need in a small volume, with fully integrated control software for local or remote operation.
Complete stabilized laser systems including the DFC CORE, any desired wavelength extension, beat units, stabilization electronics, wavelength meters, counters, and lasers are now available from one source. Any of TOPTICA’s tunable diode lasers with a wavelength between 190 nm and 2200 nm can be locked to the DFC, lasers with shorter wavelengths can be stabilized using the fundamental of their SHG unit. The complete laser system is controlled from a single GUI.

TOPTICA's new time-domain terahertz system TeraFlash smart sets new standards in terms of measurement speed: The system records up to 1600 pulse tracks per second, enabling fastest real-time layer thickness measurements even on rapidly moving samples. In contrast to conventional terahertz time-domain spectrometers, the TeraFlash smart does not use any mechanical delay unit, but includes two synchronized femtosecond lasers with an electronic delay (“electrically controlled optical sampling”, ECOPS).

With the new DLC Holo-Litho 405 TOPTICA displays the latest member of their successful diode laser family for augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). With its 1000 mW the 405 nm laser system offers an unprecedented output power and frequency stability. It outperforms commonly used gas lasers in terms of wall-plug efficiency, footprint, lifetime and costs of consumables.

For the first time, TOPTICA Projects, a TOPTICA spin-off, will have their own exhibition space as part of the TOPTICA booth, promoting their world-leading sodium guide star laser technology SodiumStar. Since 2014, the team has kept upgrading all major 8- to 10-m-class ground-based optical telescopes with their diode- and fiber-based yellow lasers. This technology improves adaptive optics performance due to optimized guide star brightness as well as a quantum leap in terms of laser reliability and availability compared to predecessor technologies. In fact, the performance of these laser systems has been so compelling that all three upcoming 30 to 40 m telescope projects are adopting the technology without major modifications.
