cw Terahertz Generation – Spectroscopy Kit

Spectroscopy Kit for TOPTICA’s cw terahertz package: Fiber-pigtailed photomixers.
  • Leading-edge photomixer technology
  • New: GaAs and InGaAs-based emitter/receiver modules
  • Typ. 1800 GHz bandwidth (GaAs), 1200 GHz (InGaAs)
  • Terahertz power up to µW levels
  • Signal-to-noise ratio up to 80 dB
  • Fully packaged antenna modules with SM/PM fiber pigtail
  • Requires Standard Package
  • Can be used with High Power Extension (recommended)
  • Highest resolution (1 MHz) with High Precision Extension

The cw spectroscopy kit is now available for both 850 nm and 1550 nm, employing state-of-the-art GaAs or InGaAs photomixers. The modules are equipped with SM/PM fiber pigtails and provide a high bandwidth, attractive terahertz power levels, and excellent signal-to-noise ratios. The package is complemented by TOPTICA's proprietary TeraControl unit TC 110 – a digital lock-in amplifier module – and an intuitive software interface.
