The SynViewScan offers a ready-to-use terahertz / millimeter-wave imaging apparatus. The system employs the frequency modulation technique of the SynViewHead and an xy scanning stage to acquire 3D terahertz data. The depth and thickness resolution is better than 20 µm for any single interface within a +/- 1 mm window; the spatial resolution is approx. 1 mm at 300 GHz. A full 3D image is generated within only a few minutes.
