The DTC 110 is a low-noise temperature control module that regulates the laser diode temperature with a precision of approx. 1 mK. It can be used to sweep the emission wavelength of DFB diodes. Its bipolar control allows fast and stable regulation. Special versions are available for DFB diodes and for regulating the temperature of nonlinear crystals.

Numerous protection circuits for the laser diode

  • Operational control via LEDs at the controller and DL 100 laser head
  • Presetable value for minimum and maximum temperature (temperature surveillance) as well as maximum output current by precision trimmers
  • Acoustic and optical indication (buzzer and LEDs, also error warning to the control system and / or a computer) when limits are reached
  • Double shielding of the case significantly reduces pick-up of ambient voltage transients, operation possible close to pulsed laser sources
  • Fast active protection mechanism prevent the surpassing of adjustable limits for the maximum heating current and temperature limits

 

In/Outputs

  • Sub-D9-connectors for connection to TEC and temperature sensor
  • BNC-connector for monitoring / surveying the active temperature control (1V / 1 °C)
  • Relevant output data to the Monitor Unit DC 110 are also available as analog signals: Tact, Tset, Tmin, Tmax, Imax, ITEC
  • Computer control optional via analogue interface DCB 110 possible
