The fiber coupled diode laser comes with TOPTICA’s ingenious COOLDC technology to provide a constant optical output level even under strongly varying ambient conditions and ensures true drop-shipment capabilities. This technology completely eliminates the need for manual realignment. Its flexible, µ-processor based electronics will make system integration of the iBeam smart PT a snap. Features as FINE, SKILL and AUTOPULSE are capable to solve common problems of your application.

- COOLDC stands for a dura calibrated Constant Optical Output Level. The technology ensures a constant power without adjustments and drop-shipment capabilities as it is perfectly aligned during assembly and stays that way.
- FINE - Feedback Induced Noise Eraser - Immunization to optical feedback, ideal for fiber coupling and reflective surfaces
- SKILL – SpeckleKILLer: Reducing speckles by decreasing the longitudinal coherence lengths of emitted light to a minimum
- TopControl: Adjust all laser parameters by easy to use graphical user interface (GUI)

- Wavelength selection
Whenever a process shows extreme spectral dependence, the iBeam smart PT can be ordered with a tighter wavelength tolerance (e.g. 407 ± 1 nm). Thus you can be sure to get the ideal laser emission for your process.
