The PicoFYb laser systems are fiber-based picosecond and sub-picosecond oscillators for seeding industrial laser systems, e.g. for micro-machining or surgery. The PicoFYb laser pulses with excellent amplitude and frequency jitter parameters are amplified to e.g. multi-Watt levels in the MOPA (master oscillator, power amplifier) laser systems of our customers. Typical amplifiers are slab, rod and disc lasers operating in the 1 or 1.5 µm wavelength regions.
Based on state-of-the art FemtoFiber technology, the PicoFYb seed lasers set the benchmark for the new generation of ultrafast lasers satisfying the most advanced industrial requirements:
- Ultrafast
- Ultra stable
- Turnkey
- Compact
- Robust
- Excellent uptime and lifetime values
- Lowest power consumption
- Highest efficiency
- Highest economy
Applications benefiting from the most stable, compact and cost-effective PicoFYb laser solutions are e.g. micro material processing, light sources for microscopy, ophthalmology and medical surgery/examination.
The specifications listed below are derived from our current OEM developments. Further customization (wavelengths, pulse durations, footprint, interfacing, etc.) is possible on the usual OEM conditions. |
