ECOPS allows variation sweeping the pulse delay without a mechanical delay stage. For example in the case of time-domain THz spectroscopy, the THz-generating laser and the THz sampling laser are synchronized to each other with the SYNC & PLL options. Varying the phase between the two repetition frequencies results in the necessary scan of the delay. The application notes in the download section on the right-hand side of this page give further explanation. |
