First coherent high power 405 nm diode laser.
First diode/fiber based guide star laser.
TOPTICA presents full pro ECDL series (DL pro, TA pro, SHG/FHG pro).
TOPTICA acquires TILL Photonics.
2008US subsidiary TOPTICA Photonics Inc. moves to Victor / Rochester NY.
OEM Yb ps ultrafast fiber lasers.
First high precision cw THz system (< 10 MHz).
First iBeam 488 diode laser.
2007TOPTICA introduces DL pro, next generation ECDL.
THz generation activities started with both cw & fs lasers.

TA-SHG - first frequency doubled semiconductor amplified ECDL.
2000PVLS, first industrial violet diode laser for computer-to-plate printing (Laser Focus World award 2001).
Product launch of MediaTest-I static disc tester.
1999First commercial violet tunable diode laser based on Nichia violet laser diode (405 nm).
1998Company foundation under name TuiOptics GmbH.
VersaTest-I versatile dynamic disc tester (in cooperation with Prof. Masud Mansuripur).
TA 100 amplified tunable ECDL based on tapered amplifier chips.
1995Establishment of "Diode Laser" department at TuiLaser AG.
